This is My first blog post. Testing it out.
I am starting this blog as I needed to put together my notes for other's uses. I love directing others to useful resources and awesome articles that i have discovered and sometimes I spend hours explaining same thing over and over to different people.
I am starting this blog more to jot down my notes and bring some efficiency to the process. And in process, I hope to learn a lot from other's experiences and their comments.
About myself, I am a search guy who has been in search space for about 10 yrs. I have dabbled a bit in Big Data over last year and gotten a bit of taste of few technologies. I usually look at infrastructure and distributed systems side of things. I have an interest in machine learning and relevance but haven't really been able to delve any deep (Secret : Need to revisit those undegrad Maths classes) ..
However, I am absolutely passionate about search, solr/lucene and I have done delved in some internals of it ..
